Hi there got my first interview coming up for the local medical admissions
unit, going to go on an informal visit but am still dreading the interview.
I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions that may help, things
to do before the interview questions they may ask etc
Simon

Hi Simon

Ive just had an interview for an E-Grade post (successful!) and trust me
interviews do not get any easier!

Look at recent government white papers and directives such as Essence of
Care - available off DoH website.
Think of the various problems youve seen trained staff face over your
training. Chances are theyll ask you what you would do in a similar
situation.
Read up on the buzz words like accountability, responsibility, clinical
governance, clinical supervision etc.

Failing that, trhe old faithful works as well - imagine that the
interviewers are naked!!

Best of luck

Clive
